Abstract:
The paper analyzes the distribution feature of seismic hazard in Hebei Province based on ArcGIS software to provide a scientific basis for seismic hazard assessment and emergency rescue work. The results show that: There has occurred 193 violent earthquakes (
MS≥
4\frac34
) in the history of Hebei Province, and the seismic hazard in space throughout 11 cities in Hebei province (except Chengde City), mainly concentrated in Tangshan, Zhangjiakou and Xingtai three regions, accounting for 58.09% of the earthquake disasters in Hebei Province. From the results of spatial statistics, the distribution of earthquake in each urban area of Hebei Province has obvious differences and cluster characteristics. The seismogeological disasters are mainly distributed in Tangshan alluvial plain and coastal plain areas, Piedmont alluvial plain areas of Xingtai and Handan, where intensity VII and above. Sand blasting and ground fissure have symbiosis, and the areas on both sides of the river are the most developed. From the perspective of seismic intensity, the largest seismic impact intensity suffered by Hebei Province is Ⅺ, and 165 out of 168 counties in the province have suffered damage above Ⅵ, accounting for about 98%.
