Abstract: Based on the historical earthquake records in Shandong and its offshore area,the type of medium and strong earthquake sequences in the area is determined.Combined with the data of modern earthquake sequence,the geographical distribution of the sequences in the area is analyzed.The zoning of different sequence type is presented,and its geological structure environment is primarily discussed.It may be useful for the estimation of aftershock tendency after a strong earthquake.
