Insulation and Noise Reduction Measures of Liangcheng Seismic Station

  • In order to solve the irregular drift of the seismometer caused by turbulence and temperature change of Liangcheng seismometer, a thermal insulation windproof box is developed. By analyzing the seismic waveform and the average noise level of the base before and after installing the insulated windproof box, it is concluded that the insulated windproof box can effectively suppress the air and temperature interference. The thermal insulation noise reduction technology can be used for reference for other stations in reducing natural environment interference.
