Research Progress in the Application of Seismic Isolation Technology in China

This paper summarized the development and application of seismic isolation technology for building structures in China. The development of seismic isolation technology for building structures in China is relatively mature at present, and its popularization and application have also been paid attention to. This paper mainly introduced the commonly used seismic isolation technologies and their corresponding principles for building structures. The seismic energy dissipation devices and the seismic isolation devices based on different principles of seismic isolation were discussed. Finally, some suggestions on the development direction and prospect of seismic isolation technology for building structures in the future in China were proposed.
