SEGMENTAL CHARACTERISTICS OF HUANGZHUANG-GAOLIYING FAULT SYSTEM

The Segmental Characteristics of the Huangzhuang gaoliying fault System are discussed according to the fractal theory.The fractal dimensions of each segments of the fault system are calculated.Based on the fractal dimensions,the Huangzhuang Gaoliying fault System is divided into three segments.The results show that fractal dimensions of each segments are consistent with both geophysical data and the characteristics of seismicity The most active segment that deserve extra attention in the fault system is the middle segment (from Lishuiqiao to Xiaoyouying).
