SEISMIC ACTIVITY AND STRUCTURE IN XINYI-SIXIAN SEISMIC RISK REGION

  • based on contrast of deep and shallow structure, tectonic resolution, analysis of historic earthquake and seismicity, the seismotectonic environment and seismic rhythm are studied, and the seismic risk region in Xinyi-Sixian area is presented. Through steric analysis to the risk region, the spacial location of the potential earthquake is located, and the parameter of focal depth, magnitude, major axes and attenuation direction, reoccurrence interval are also predicted.
