THE SEISMOGENIC BACKGROUND OF XINGTAI M7.2 EARTHQUAKE
The seismogenic background of Xingtai earthquake is analyzed from sunspot activity,earthquake migration,seismic rhythm,and phase of moon.The results show that the characteristic of the background is very distinct.As the occurrence of earthquake is controlled by many factors,it is significant to earthquake prediction to study the characteristic of seismogenic background.
