REGIONAL STRAIN FIELD COMPUTING BASED ON DATA FORM 4 COMPONENT BOREHOLE STRAINMETER OF ZHANGZHOU

  • Regional strain filed is computed from the 4 component borehole strain observation data of Zhangzhou station.The magnitudes and direction of the principal strain is given.The direction of the principal strain on up plane and low plan are about 170 degrees, which is consistent with what the results of composite plane solution obtained from moderate intensity seismicity in Fujian area.The direction of regional principal strain is EW.
