THE FEM ANALYSIS OF PARALLEL COMPOSITE ISOLATION SYSTEM MASONRY CONSTRUCTION

  • This article made an analysis of a six-layered parallel composite isolation system masonry building by finite-element method.The building is composite isolation system composed of rubber isolation bearing and silde isolation bearing.The contrast of the time history analysis results of fundation-fixed system and the parallel composite isolation system prove that this isolation system can reduce the seismic response of upper structures and enhance the aseismic capability of the buildings.
