MINIMUM MAGNITUDES OF COMPLETENESS OF SHANDONG AREA——RYDELEK-SACKS TEST METHOD

In this paper, the Rydelek-Sacks test method for estimating the minimum magnitude of completeness (M_C) is introduced.Using this test method combining with other methods, on the basis of earthquake catalog of Shandong area since 1970, the M_C of each earthquake tracing region in Shandong area are determined: M_C of Yishu region is 2.4;M_C of western region of Shandong is 2.0;M_C of eastern region of Shandong is 2.8.Finally, the advantage and problems of the method are also summarized and discussed.
