  • Abnormal variations of dissolved hydrogen in hotwater of Guanghua and Xiaotangshan wells in Beijing before and after Datong-Yanggao M6.O earthquake on Oct. 18, 1980and the M4.2 earthquake in the southwest of Xuanhua on Nov. 11, 1987 are well illustrated in this paper. Based on the an alysis and study of observed dissolved H2 associated with earthquakes, some preliminary ideas about earthquake prediction by anomaly of dissolved H2 in underground hot water are suggested.
