CRUSTAL DIRECT WAVE VELOCITY AND LOCAL TRAVEL TIMETABLEIN HANDAN-XINGTAI AREA

By using 34 Xingtai after shocks recorded at 168 single stations of Handan telemetered seismic network from January 1986 to June 1990, the crustal direct wave velocity for Handan-Xingtai area is respectively calculated as follows: V_p-=6.00km/s, V_s=3.53km/s,V_φ=8.62km/s, wave velocity ratio V_p/V_s=1.699.Based on this, the local travel timetable suitable to this area has been worked out.The result showed that the data precision processed by the local travel timetable was obviously higher than that by J-B table.
